2 3 REAL SPECIAL (CH320) G Mosse XB Fractious in the gates and was slow to begin, settled back in the field along the fence. Was shuffled back to last approaching the home turn. Came to the outside in the straight and closed off strongly.
3 5 INDUSTRIAL EXPRESS (CH103) D Whyte -- Parked midfield, 2-wide with cover. Took inside runs rounding the home turn and finished off satisfactorily.
4 8 AMSTERDAM (CE140) G Gomez XB/H/TT Raced keenly in the early stages, settling behind the speed 1 off without cover. Worked forward mid race however, didn't quicken when pressured turning for home.
5 4 THE GOODIES (CH097) C Soumillon H/TT Began awkwardly and lost a considerable amount of ground settling at the rear. Looped the field after the 600 M, but ended its run well short of the line.
6 1 FLORAL NIRVANA (CH232) B Prebble TT Was taken back on jumping from a wide gate and raced towards the rear of the field, 2 deep with cover. Made some ground over the final furlong.
7 10 FANTASTIC GUY (CH025) W M Lai B Near the 1000 M, was carried wider to a position without cover, settling behind the pace. After entering the back straight was ridden along to improve, however, continued to race without cover. One paced in the run home.
8 2 WONDERFUL BLESSING (CE198) O Doleuze CP/TT Tracked the leaders, 1 off with cover. Had every chance.
9 7 LUCKY MONEY (CE159) K T Yeung -- Travelled midfield on the fence. Gave ground quickly in the run home.
10 6 KINGSGATE GLORY (CH020) E Saint-Martin B/TT Led early then took up a trailing position behind the leader along the fence near the 1400 M. Tailed out in the straight. (To Trial.)
