3 12 FLY HIGH (CH126) H W Lai B 3-back along the rails about 4Ls off speed in midfield at the 600 M, finished off strongly to nick a place close home.
4 6 WINDICATOR RETURNS (CJ191) O Doleuze H-/B1 3-wide no cover at first, 1L down in 2nd from the 600 M to final bend, had his chance and tipped out of the frame close home.
5 3 KINDACROSS (CG041) C Soumillon XB/TT Awkward break and taken back from wide gate, 7Ls last taking the final bend, ran on well to be nearest at the finish. (Jockey warned.)
6 4 MR COOL (CD071) C K Tong B/TT Midfield or better about 2Ls off speed until home straight, one-paced to conclude and no excuses.
7 2 CLASSIC NAVIGATOR (CD330) W M Lai TT 2-wide and 4Ls back in 8th or so until straightening, held up from 200 M to 100 M but wasn't posing a threat to principals anyway.
8 11 YUE LU TREASURE (CJ184) C W Wong -- Slowly away, about 6Ls off pace and one from rear at halfway, recovering some ground when checked 200 M out, didn't trouble those ahead.
9 1 EASY (CG095) Y T Cheng TT- Midfield or better between 2Ls and 3Ls from the speed, 3-wide turning for home and with place prospects, couldn't quicken up.
10 8 DESTINY'S CHILD (CK156) K C Leung -- Box-seated on fence in 4th or 5th about 2Ls from the pace until home straight, soon outpaced.
11 7 LUCIA (CH229) M Du Plessis B/XB Slowest out and raced very greenly and ungenerously down the back straight and bumped the rail 600 M out, offered little in the straight. (See Racing Incidents.)
