6 6 SOLAR ENERGY (CJ105) Z Purton -- Well enough to begin, assumed prominent spot 1 out 1 back, had fair run to bend, held up 400 M to 150 M, just held ground when clear.
8 8 MOMENTOUS (CJ238) O Doleuze B Fastest out, pressed on to take up running, set even tempo to bend, challenged turning, kept on to 200 M before losing advantage and just held ground thereafter.
9 1 MEDIC FORTUNE (CK057) K C Leung -- Showed good early pace, lead briefly before electing to take trail on leaders back, eased outside leader on bend, challenged for front to 200 M but didn't have extra and faded out.
10 13 WIN-A-LOT (CJ124) B Doyle B-/XB/V1 No early pace, ended up 6Ls back on fence, not helped by pace, 3Ls down when field bunched up approaching turn, limited room to 200 M, lacked a dash when run emerged final furlong.
11 4 STREET CAT (CK037) K T Yeung TT Began fairly, slotted in to running line 5Ls back, moved 3-wide with cover on circle, shifted wider on turning but flattened at 300 M and lacked required finish late. (Lame next day.)
12 10 LOCAL POWER (CH296) C W Wong -- Out in line, unable to drop in, caught 4-wide 7Ls back early, made a looping run 5-wide without cover on circle, unable to sustain effort and tired last 250 M.
