3 5 SILVER BLAZE (CJ149) M Chadwick -- jumped with others but slightly slow into stride, settled 2 back on rails just better than mid-division of bunched field, not much room upon straightening, ran on steadily to be nearest at finish.
4 9 ELITE SIXTY-SIX (CK085) D Beadman -- Settled wide in forward of midfield after beginning from wide barrier, gradually shifted out for a clear run after straightening, produced steady late headway final 200 M despite shifting ground.
5 7 SOHNA (CG183) J Victoire B Began awkwardly losing ground, settled well back as usual for a late burst through the field in straight, nearest at finish.

8 8 DANABAA (CH007) O Doleuze B Broke well, settled outside joint leader most of way, carried wider around the bend, fought on in vain under pressure in straight, folded up quickly inside final 200 M. (Questioned.)
