3 6 WHISKY POWER (CH291) M W Leung B2/H Raced on the speed but was caught 3-wide without cover on the circle. Maintained a good gallop all the way to the wire to finish in a place.
4 3 TOP TOP LIGHT (CG182) J Winks B-/PC2/TT Travelled in last position. Steadily improved after the 600 M, ran on fairly.
5 8 SEASON LINKZ (CK133) Y T Cheng B1 Stalked the leader along the fence. Was somewhat one paced in the straight.
6 2 GRAND STORE (CH087) D Whyte -- Couldn't go the early speed and settled back in the race 2 to 3-wide with cover. Was shunted very wide after the 500 M and struggled thereafter. (Vet reported "roarer".)
7 5 MASTER CRISTO (CH321) C K Tong -- Raced 4Ls off the leader but commenced to hang out badly passing the 500 M, and covered considerable ground from then on. Not likely.
