3 9 THE UNTOUCHABLELAD (CK398) Y T Cheng -- Couldn't go the early speed of the race settling with the backmakers, one off with cover. Came home with an eye catching final 400 M.
4 11 SOHNA (CG183) J Victoire B/TT Settled at the rear of the field one off with cover. Closed off soundly. (See Racing Incidents.)
5 8 SUPER GOAL CHAMP (CL015) G Mosse P1/H1 Camped on the back of the leader on the paint. Niggled along to maintain its position and never really quickened in the run to the line.
6 4 LUCKY WINNER (CE124) C Lemaire B/TT Ridden along early and coursed very wide in the early stages Settled in 2nd position but remained racing wide and without cover. Kept on despite tough run.
7 7 SHOWTIME (CK278) D Whyte B/TT Raced midfield, 2-deep with cover. Progressed to the line satisfactorily.
8 5 HIGH LUCK (CK134) D Beadman -- Ridden in a handy position 3 deep with cover for most of the trip. Gave little when asked for an effort after the 400 M and hung in for the remainder of the event.
9 2 DOUBLE DRAGON (CK019) C W Wong XB1/H/TT- Settled midfield 1-off before rolling to the fence near the 800 M. Failed to make any impression in the final stretch and was disappointing. (See Racing Incidents.)
10 12 DESCARTES (CK293) Y Iwata -- Crowded at the start, then while being steadied by its rider near the 1000 M, lost its position when crowded for room, settling behind midfield the fence. Struggled in the straight.
11 6 PAPAS (CK274) C K Tong V Showed good gate speed to spear forward and lead early, took a sit and settled 1 off by the 900 M. Was well and truly beaten by the 400 M.
12 10 PERFECT FIT (CK323) K L Chui B/TT Hampered on jumping then raced in restricted room for some distance after settling in last position along the rail. Failed to close off.
