7 6 GRAND DANCER (CK268) M Guyon B Began well, ideally situated in 1 out 1 back spot, close enough to bend, lacked needed response in straight and faded out.
8 11 HUSSLER (CJ323) Z Purton B Showed speed to lead early, took trail on rails soon after, 4ls off runaway leader in mid section, niggled to cart field up turning and looked a brief place chance, didn’t go on late.
9 5 EASY WINNER (CL138) H W Lai B2 Slotted into spot behind midfield, 2 wide 8ls lack, pace to suit, lacked a dash at 400 M and battled in run home.
10 8 OLE OLE (CK301) M L Yeung -- Out with rest, ended up in midfield, 6-7Ls back in midsection, didn’t find in straight and never threatened.
11 3 BERIO (CJ202) K C Leung V Pressed forward and took a trail behind first few, 5ls or so back from runaway leader, fair run to turn, lacked usual finishing efforts and steadily faded.
12 4 HAPPY REUNION (CK163) W M Lai TT Settled just behind midfield on rails, 7-8Ls back, easy time and aided by speed, made some ground to 300m, didn’t see out extra journey thereafter. (Muco.)
