2 1 BEAR HERO (CM220) B Prebble TT1 Travelled in fourth position, 1 off the fence. Hit the front near the furlong, lay in under pressure over the last 100m, kept on gamely.
3 5 WAH MAY STAR (CM254) Z Purton -- Speared forward to lead and ran along at a solid pace whilst travelling on the fence. Managed to hold to third despite having to be severely checked near the 100m.
4 7 MEDALLIST (N024) T Clark TT1 Raced in 6th position, 2 wide with some cover. Worked home soundly.
5 3 FLYING UNICORN (CM087) M Chadwick -- Worked hard to go forward but was posted 3 wide without cover for most of the trip whilst racing behind the speed. Never likely.
6 2 SMILING WATCH (CM325) T Angland H/CP1 Raced in 5th position along the paint. Failed to close off and gave ground over the last 100m.
