4 5 GOOD WORDS (CL371) M L Yeung TT Jumped well and sat outside leader first turn before dropping two-back, the rail back stretch. Took inside run final stretch and kept on well, losing 3rd in final stride.
5 7 WITHINMYHEART (CM176) W M Lai -- Beaten for early speed but able to snatch rail position along back stretch. Turned wide into straight and kept on steadily without threatening.
6 2 BULLISH FRIEND (N333) M Chadwick TT Ridden forward to vie for early lead and made to work when taken out by inside horse, dropping to 4th. Unbalanced 500m, kept on one-paced final 400m.
7 9 NEW GLORY (CK304) K Teetan B Hard ridden to go forward but wide first turn. Held together back stretch before moving up to sit outside leader final turn. Looked chance 400m before tiring.
8 4 FLYING COLOURS (CJ111) T Angland B/XB Slightly slow to jump but recovered quickly to sit in midfield, three back along the fence. Improved slightly top of straight before turning one-paced.
9 8 HOLIDAY SUN (CJ328) T H So CP Outpaced early and settled between horses towards the rear. Improved slightly before final turn but only one-paced final 400m.
10 11 WEALTHY FORTUNE (P324) C K Tong -- Dropped back from wide draw but kept away from fence. Covered extra ground before final turn and found nothing in straight, becoming detached.
