2 8 HEI HEI POSH (CM390) K Teetan TT Made its run from last position close to the rail with cover. Took off 4 deep and coursed 3 deep without cover after the 800m. Swung the home turn widest & finished off gamely.
3 6 JAMESINA (CH290) D Whyte B Eventually crossed after the 1400m, to race outside the leader. Let a couple improve around at the 700m and took up a trailing position. Plugged away in the home stretch.
4 4 INDIGO WAY (CM227) H W Lai B Enjoyed the box seat. Got shuffled back after the 800m, was dour in the home stretch.
5 5 BACKBENCH BLUES (P096) Z Purton SR/TT Settled in 6th position, 2 wide with cover. Got moving after the 800m, landing in second position outside the leader. Kept on plugging away down the running.
6 2 LUCKY OMENS (P146) M Chadwick TT Didn't enjoy the best of trips, being bumped near the 1400m, when racing 5th, about 3L back the fence, with cover. Copped a check near the 600m, and was never in the hunt thereafter.
7 3 SUPERNINSKY (N266) O Doleuze H/TT Led along the fence. Was headed after the 600m, and was a spent force thereafter.
