3 10 FORGIVE AND FORGET (N303) B Prebble B2 Jumped well, cut in to hold rail behind leader. Shuffled back to fourth making turn, no clear run until 250m, finished off nicely.
4 6 WHY NOT (N053) A Suborics TT Began fairly, sitting at rear in one-off position. Edged forward entering turn, wide into straight, ran on steadily to be closest at finish.
5 4 PRINCIPAL (P108) J Moreira -- Ridden along to hold forward position between horses but badly crowded 1400m. Bumped 900m. Switched out in straight and kept on steadily.
6 2 ETON BLITZ (P329) N Callan -- Hard ridden from wide draw to lead on settling. Passed by another entering turn, retook lead entering straight, kept on until swamped final stages.
7 7 CLUB LIFE (P309) O Doleuze B Ridden along early to hold 3rd, became awkward when passed by outside horse. Closed in top of straight, looked chance 200m, kept on without threatening.
8 12 KEEN TACTICS (N143) H W Lai B/TT Taken forward from wide draw and held without cover passing 800m. Raced tight around turn, pressed forward entering straight, no extra close home.
9 1 BULLISH SMART (S221) M Chadwick TT Began well but badly crowded 1400m, dropping back but holding rail. Shifted out 900m, bumped, no run in straight. Not tested.
10 8 BEST TANGO (S121) C Reith H/TT Began OK, racing along rail behind midfield. No run in straight until passing 200m, kept on when clear.
11 3 TURBO JEWELLERY (N379) K Teetan TT Outpaced, dropping to clear last on settling. Trailed field thereafter, passing tired horse final stages.
12 5 AMBITIOUS CHAMPION (S083) K C Leung B Began fairly, crowded 1400m then pulled hard. Steadied but caught without cover 1100m, rolled forward to lead 800m. 2nd into straight before tiring.
