3 3 EXCITING DREAM (P191) N Rawiller CP Began with field, ridden to obtain forward position, settling three-back from leader along rail. Stayed on fence turning for home and kept on well to be closest at the finish.
4 5 BEAR HERO (CM220) C Y Ho TT Shifted across behind runners from awkward draw, settling along fence toward the rear. Took closer order around turn, widest in straight, ran on steadily.
5 2 LORD SINCLAIR (N447) O Doleuze TT Got off OK but not much speed, settling toward rear in one-off position. Still well back entering the straight, found run between horses, kept on seedily.
6 9 LANG TAI SING (S280) K Teetan B Began OK, tightened and bumped 950m, settling four-back the fence. Switched out entering straight and ran on fairly between horses.
7 1 KEY WITNESS (S212) D Whyte B/TT Ridden along from wide draw but steadied 950m then left wide without cover from 800m. Improved around turn, was finishing well when switched out and unbalanced 150m. Not ridden out final stages.
8 11 GOLDEN DEER (P121) M L Yeung B Outpaced and last on settling. Last into straight, switched out but blocked for run 200m-150m, finished off nicely down centre track.
9 7 GO BABY GO (N033) T H So -- Jumped in air when gates opened, hard ridden but failed to muster, settling towards rear along fence. Improved slightly turn but only one-paced in straight.
10 10 SUPREME FALCON (P224) K C Leung CP Ridden to hold forward position settling 3-back, one-off. Took closer order around turn, kept on well to 200m before tiring.
11 6 COSMIC BOOM (N019) M Chadwick H/XB/TT Bumped start, ridden to grab box seat before turn. Lost position entering straight, eased away from heels passing 300m, faded.
