4 8 RUNNING BOY (J041) C Y Ho XB/TT- Chased leaders early before settling down in a position ahead of midfield, worked home steadily final 300M but was always held by first few.

9 7 ABSOLUTE SUNSHINE (H342) C L Chau B-/CP2/TT- Commenced only fairly then dropped back to near last early stages, about 8Ls to make up 400M, lacked a kick in the straight. (Jockey lost whip 100M.)
10 11 DRAGON PRIDE (D164) B Thompson -- Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, given a waiting ride towards the rear, had the task ahead top of straight, failed to finish off.
11 4 NOT A FEW (J109) A Atzeni CP/XB Restrained in midfield 4Ls off the pace, similar position at the turn but couldn't go on with it, weakened rapidly final 200M.
12 2 EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) A Badel TT Unable to slot in from draw 8, caught wide no cover chasing leaders for the majority of race, couldn't keep up 500M, weakened and finished tailed out. (Unacceptable Performance.)
