5 5 CAPTAIN WIN (E466) K Teetan B From widest barrier managed to obtain a midfield position along the 2-path, kept on evenly over final 300M for a modest 5th.
6 8 GIDDY UP (J020) A Hamelin TT Taken back to a rearward spot on jumping from wide draw, had some work to do top of straight, stayed on final 400M but not posing serious threat.
7 6 GREAT STATE (J124) M L Yeung TT Hard pressed leaving the stalls to be tracking leader along the fence, fought on one paced in the straight, always held by leaders.
8 9 GOKO WIN (H069) M Chadwick B Began well, strode forward to avoid racing wide, settled in 4th more forward than anticipated, only held his ground early straight, got outpaced final 200M.
9 10 MAGNIFICENT NINE (H433) M F Poon B/E Ended up racing 3-wide behind midfield, no cover from 800M, not going the pace to challenge on straightening. Made no impression on his seasonal return.
10 11 THUNDER BLINK (J019) C L Chau -- Jumped only fairly, reserved behind midfield, gave limited response on straightening. Never threatened.
11 7 DASHING DRAGON (J464) B Thompson -- Settled down in the 2nd half of the field, hard driven 500M, couldn't keep up with leaders from 300M.
