2 9 ROMANTIC GLADIATOR (L240) L Hewitson TT Raced in mid-pack but stayed close enough to leaders, picked up well when urged along near 400M, led early straight before keeping on well to the line. Just couldn't hold off winner final stages.
3 8 ARMOR GOLDEN EAGLE (K566) A Atzeni B Chased leaders on the inside, held up making the home turn and early straight, obtained clear running passing 250M and closed off well enough to take 3rd.
4 2 KEEFY (G306) M F Poon V Settled just behind midfield, moved closer over the home turn to be 3Ls off leader 400M, fought hard in the straight couldn't find the extra gear to challenge first two.
5 5 FIVEFORTWO (K381) L Ferraris TT From wide draw eased back to race in a rearward position, driven wide into the home straight, ran on steadily but was always held by first few.
6 10 RAGGA BOMB (K162) R Kingscote XB Chased leaders, raced keenly in the early stages, driven along nearing 400M but soon couldn't keep up with leaders. Out of contention mid-straight.
7 1 JUMBO LEGEND (G266) J Moreira B/TT Switched off to last on jumping from widest gate, raced as the back marker throughout, responded fairly passing the 300M, never reach contention.
8 3 THE BOOM BOX (K076) J Orman CP Taken across from a wide draw, settled near last throughout the event, had some work to do top of straight but couldn't pick up speed when needed.
9 4 RIDING TOGETHER (K081) Z Purton V/TT Moved up to race outside the lead and pressed leader during the event, weakened final 200M and was eased when no chance. (Jockey - raced too keenly and couldn't finish off in the straight.)
10 6 I CAN (H381) C L Chau H/TT From draw 2 obtained a midfield position along the fence, held up on the home turn but failed to finish off when asked in the straight.
11 7 TELECOM FIGHTERS (D482) P N Wong -- Urged to take the lead, pressed by rival throughout early and middle stages, soon headed on straightening then weakened rapidly to finish last. (No Vet findings.)
