Ethan Brown
Age: 26
Background:
Ethan Brown has quickly built a reputation over the past few Australian seasons as a high-class jockey and, after overcoming serious injuries sustained in a fall at Flemington in 2023, he is now one of the most sought-after riders in Australia. Brown commenced riding in races aged 16 and showed great promise during a short stint in his hometown of Alice Springs where he was apprenticed to Greg O’Connor, riding his first winner on Lady Phromily in 2015. Faced with limited opportunities in the Northern Territory, Brown relocated to Melbourne to link up with renowned horseman Michael Kent. Since completing his apprenticeship and joining forces with champion trainer Ciaron Maher, Brown has flourished and now has over 600 wins.
