1 4 TYCOON RESOURCES (L234) Over the concluding stages shifted in, resulting in its rider Y L Chung having to stop riding and straighten his mount as it approached the winning post. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 BEAUTY SHOW (L260) Jumped awkwardly. Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of TYCOON RESOURCES which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

7 8 ELEGANT LIFE (J366) Approaching the 500 Metres lay out and was steadied to avoid JOY STAR. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind BEAUTY THUNDER which shifted in. J Moreira stated that his mount, which was fractious in the starting gates, jumped awkwardly and lost ground. He added that ELEGANT LIFE travelled only fairly during the event and finished the race off in a one-paced manner in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 5 FORZA LEADER (L034) No report.
9 10 GET FRIENDLY (L069) Shortly after the start was bumped by FORZA LEADER which shifted out. A short distance later GET FRIENDLY became unbalanced when crowded between FORZA LEADER and JOY STAR which was racing tight to the inside of HAPPY UNITED. Shifted out approaching the 800 Metres and made contact with JOY STAR.
10 7 JOY STAR (L235) After travelling a short distance made contact with GET FRIENDLY when racing tight to the inside of HAPPY UNITED. Approaching the 800 Metres, when racing ungenerously, got its head up and became unbalanced when racing in restricted room between GOLDEN FRIENDSHIP which shifted in slightly and GET FRIENDLY which shifted out and made contact with JOY STAR when being corrected by its rider.
11 9 VIVA BOSS (L139) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
12 6 ZETA HEDGE (K295) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Apprentice P N Wong stated that the intention was to go forward and attempt to lead. She said despite riding her mount along in the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to do so.
