1 5 MY WISH (J256) Near the 450 Metres shifted out and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 9 CAP FERRAT (K021) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 DOCKLANDS (K902) Jumped only fairly. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
4 10 INVINCIBLE IBIS (K296) Shifted out on jumping and made contact with JANTAR MANTAR.
5 2 VOYAGE BUBBLE (E436) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
6 11 SUNLIGHT POWER (H244) No report.
7 7 GALAXY PATCH (H399) Jumped awkwardly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 700 Metres and the 500 Metres raced tight to the inside of CAP FERRAT when improving into a narrow run to the inside of CAP FERRAT.
8 12 CHANCHENG GLORY (H212) Near the 450 Metres was bumped and carried wider by MY WISH.
9 13 COPARTNER PRANCE (H408) No report.
10 14 LITTLE PARADISE (K246) Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was badly held up for clear running behind LUCKY SWEYNESSE. For some distance near the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of COPARTNER PRANCE.
11 4 LUCKY SWEYNESSE (G180) K C Leung stated that his mount was able to obtain a favourable position behind the lead in the early and middle stages. He said on entering the Home Straight he endeavoured to improve between RED LION and COPARTNER PRANCE, however, had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres after which LUCKY SWEYNESSE did not respond to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 8 STRAUSS (L918) Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind LUCKY SWEYNESSE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 1 JANTAR MANTAR (K910) Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by INVINCIBLE IBIS which shifted out slightly. Near the 1400 Metres was bumped by RED LION which shifted in slightly, resulting in JANTAR MANTAR shifting in and away from RED LION. When questioned Y Kawada stated that his mount did not travel well throughout the race and, in his opinion, was not suited by racing on the Sha Tin surface, particularly as it had raced disappointingly at its previous race start at Sha Tin on 8 December 2024. Trainer T Takano stated that JANTAR MANTAR had pleased him since arriving in Hong Kong and he had expected it to perform well, however, he could offer no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
14 6 RED LION (H115) No report.
