2 6 PRESTIGE COME (L261) Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 CHILL PARTNERS (K484) No report.
4 14 STAR SATYR (K231) Soon after the start was severely crowded for room between FRANCIS MEYNELL which was taken out by JOY TOGETHER after it was bumped by PRESIDENT PEGASUS which was taken out by NOBLE PATCH and CHILL PARTNERS which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. After passing the 400 Metres was inclined to lay in and was steadied and shifted out to avoid the heels of JOY TOGETHER. When laying in shifted in near the 50 Metres and made contact with ALABAMA SONG.
5 11 ALABAMA SONG (K480) Shifted out slightly near the 50 Metres and made contact with STAR SATYR.
6 5 NOBLE PATCH (L282) Jumped awkwardly and then shortly afterwards shifted out, becoming unbalanced for a short distance after making contact with PRESIDENT PEGASUS. Over-raced in the middle stages.
7 12 FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) Crowded for room shortly after the start between STAR SATYR and JOY TOGETHER. M F Poon reported that whilst his mount did strike some interference soon after the start his instructions were to ride the horse back in the field from a wide barrier.
8 1 EXCELLENCE VALUE (K093) Slow to begin.
9 13 DIAMOND SPARKLE (L182) Passing the 250 Metres, when laying in under pressure, shifted in, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten. DIAMOND SPARKLE continued to lay in for the remainder of the race.
10 8 SILVERY KNIGHT (L236) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the 1000 Metres got its head up when over-racing.
11 4 JOY TOGETHER (L227) Proved difficult to load, delaying the start. Before being allowed to race again, JOY TOGETHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. Crowded shortly after the start between FRANCIS MEYNELL and NOBLE PATCH which shifted out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 9 PRESIDENT PEGASUS (L241) Got unbalanced soon after the start when crowded between JOY TOGETHER and NOBLE PATCH which shifted out. K Teetan reported that he was instructed to ride his mount back today as it had not been finishing its races off in recent starts.
13 2 TRUE BROTHERS (L381) No report.
14 10 VOYAGE BOSS (K321) Apprentice H Y Yuen reported that she was instructed to position her mount with cover just off the speed but could give no explanation for its failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of VOYAGE BOSS was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, VOYAGE BOSS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
