Racing Incident Report

SIMPLY THE BEST began awkwardly and lost ground. SIR LAGO was slow to begin. On jumping, GLOBAL WAY was bumped by BAUHINIA which when being taken back at the start got its head up and shifted out. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, WONDER KID proved difficult to settle, near the 1200 Metres and again at the 1100 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of PRIMIATA as the tempo of the race steadied. From the 200 Metres until near the 100 Metres, WONDER KID was held up and unable to obtain clear running. In the Straight, FORTUNE GALLOP hung in and close to the line was steadied away from the heels of GLOBAL WAY. FORTUNE GALLOP was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. A veterinary inspection of FORTUNE GALLOP after the race did not show any significant findings. ZERO GRAVITY and PRIMIATA were sent for sampling.
