Racing Incident Report

WINNING STRATEGY, which was fractious in the barriers, was slow to begin. From the outside barrier, MUTUAL GAIN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. In the early part of the Straight, WINNING STRATEGY raced tight inside TRANSCENDENCE. Throughout the race, NOBLE ZOOM travelled wide and without cover. When questioned, J Lloyd stated that he had to make considerable use of CHAIN WIN to cross runners to his inside to take up a forward position. He also stated that, in his opinion, CHAIN WIN does not run out a strong 1200 Metres. He added that CHAIN WIN briefly responded to his riding in the early part of the Straight, however, weakened over the final 200 Metres. A veterinary inspection of CHAIN WIN after the race did not show any significant findings. BERNINI and WINNING STRATEGY were sent for sampling.
