Racing Incident Report

TRAVEL FIRST was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, TRAVEL FIRST will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
GOD OF DRAGON shifted out at the start and bumped GIANT TURTLE.
OWNERS’ STAR began only fairly and then lost ground when crowded for room between JOLLY GENE and TASHIDELEK which shifted in.
After initially being ridden along, TASHIDELEK was steadied and shifted across behind runners shortly after the start to obtain cover. Then near the 2000 Metres, when racing in a three wide position, TASHIDELEK was further steadied to obtain cover behind OWNERS’ STAR.
OWNERS’ STAR made the Home Turn awkwardly.
Passing the 300 Metres, GIANT TURTLE was momentarily awkwardly placed outside the heels of JOLLY GENE as TASHIDELEK improved quickly to its outside.
A veterinary inspection of GIANT TURTLE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SALTO OLIMPICO and TASHIDELEK were sent for sampling.
