Racing Incident Report

1 6 ALWAYS MY FOLKS (J345) After the race an endoscopic examination was conducted on ALWAYS MY FOLKS at the request of Trainer C S Shum. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, ALWAYS MY FOLKS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 MACANESE MASTER (J532) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) Jumped only fairly.
4 8 TAIHANG SCENERY (J314) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 400 Metres was steadied when held up for clear running behind LUCKY GENERATIONS. As a result TAIHANG SCENERY was held up until near the 300 Metres when it was shifted to the inside of LUCKY GENERATIONS to secure clear running.
5 1 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) No report.
6 12 BINGO BABE (K115) No report.
7 3 LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338) After the 400 Metres was steadied to avoid RUN YES RUN. J Moreira reported that his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to hold a more forward position and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 9 ORIENTAL SURPRISE (K028) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
9 10 SHINE BRIGHT (H385) No report.
10 7 RUN YES RUN (J264) No report.
11 11 SPORTIC WARRIOR (J385) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
12 2 FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229) Lay out on the Home Turn. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
