Racing Incident Report

On leaving the Parade Ring, QUICK NEWS made contact with the rail. After arriving at the Start, the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He had it trotted up and after the necessary consultations he said in his opinion QUICK NEWS was suitable to race. SPIRITUAL KING was slowly away. BULLSHOT left the gates awkwardly and threw its head about. On leaving the gates, FLASHING STAR and GOLD CHARM bumped. Throughout the race, FORTE hung out badly. BEARCAT, FLASHING STAR and FORTE were sent for sampling.
