Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the starting stalls, it was noted GIVE ME GIVE had shifted its right front plate. This plate was re-set. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. SMILEY WIN was slow to begin. SURE FORTUNE was a little slow to begin. LIGHTING THE WORLD began very awkwardly, causing Y T Cheng, its rider, to become badly unbalanced and almost be dislodged. In the middle stages, MAGIC TOUCH hung out. Throughout the race, FLASH MAC travelled wide and without cover and making the turn at the 700 Metres hung out and consequently lost ground. After this, FLASH MAC continued to hang out until after straightening. FLASH MAC, SURE FORTUNE and BRILLIANT ATTORNEY were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported GIVE ME FIVE had bled from both nostrils.
