Racing Incident Report

When being mounted in the Parade Ring, WISHING WELL became fractious and dislodged W M Lai, its rider. WISHING WELL began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. SHINING DAY, which was standing badly, got its head up when the gates opened, began awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly afterwards SHINING DAY was then checked to avoid the heels of GLORY YEARS which on jumping shifted in. After this, for a considerable distance, SHINING DAY raced ungenerously with its head up. HEALTHY began awkwardly, knuckled and then bumped with CASH BABY. METRO LEADER was slow to begin and then throughout the race hung out. In the middle stages, GOLDEN GALLOPER hung out. After the 200 Metres, GOLDEN GALLOPER was steadied away from the heels of SHINING DAY which when making ground shifted in abruptly. For the major part of the race, CASH BABY hung out and over the concluding stages proved difficult to ride. SHINING DAY, KE JIA WANG and HEALTHY were sent for sampling.
