Racing Incident Report

CALCANDO was withdrawn on 6.5.05 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (abnormal blood count). Before being allowed to race again, CALCANDO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After the field had been boxed, TRIO'S PET became fractious, reared up and sat down behind. TRIO'S PET was removed from its stall and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of TRIO'S PET. Whilst TRIO'S PET was undergoing its veterinary examination, ALL'S WELL became fractious and reared. ALL'S WELL was removed from its stall and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was also not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of ALL'S WELL. Before being allowed to race again, TRIO'S PET and ALL'S WELL will both have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. Near the 800 Metres, SUPER HONEY was crowded for room between DANSING FUN and OCEAN TRANQUIL. Over the concluding stages, DANSING FUN hung in, near the 100 Metres shifted ground and bumped SUPER HONEY. Also over the concluding stages, WONDERFUL BLESSING hung out. OCEAN TRANQUIL and DANSING FUN were sent for sampling.
