Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the Start, OKEYDOKEY was examined by the Veterinary Officer. The horse was passed suitable to race. GREEN IDEAL was difficult to load and then was slow to begin. Before being allowed to race again, GREEN IDEAL will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. Shortly after the start, LIVERPOOLTHEGREAT was hampered and steadied when crowded for room between OKEYDOKEY and EVER MORE which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly. Also shortly after the start, HARVEY MUDD was steadied when crowded for room between NEW TRIUMPH and PASSION. At the 900 Metres, GREEN IDEAL was bumped by LIVERPOOLTHEGREAT which shifted out. At the 400 Metres, HARVEY MUDD, which was improving towards the outside of CASH BABY, was checked and shifted in abruptly to avoid the heels of that horse which when hanging shifted out. Over the concluding stages, FORTE got its head on the side and hung in. G Mossé (WINE WIN) was unable to offer any explanation for the performance of the horse. He said WINE WIN trialed well leading into today's race and he was confident the horse would perform accordingly. He said today WINE WIN was slow to begin which is unusual for the horse. He said after this it travelled comfortably behind the leaders and near the 500 Metres he shifted to the inside of TOP STITCH to ensure he had clear running. He said near the 400 Metres when he commenced to ride WINE WIN along, the horse responded only fairly for a short distance and then over the concluding stages gave ground. WINE WIN was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WINE WIN after the race did not show any significant findings. GRAND SUPREME and FORTE were sent for sampling.
