Racing Incident Report

Apprentice K L Chui (FOREST STAR) was fined $2,000 for being late entering the Parade Ring. GALLANT MASTER, which was fractious in its stall, began awkwardly and lost ground and then over the final 400 Metres when under pressure raced greenly. SPEED AND GOLD and FOREST STAR were slow to begin. SPEEDY STAR began awkwardly and shifted out. Over the final 300 Metres, NOBLE DE LAGO hung out and proved difficult to ride. Over the concluding stages, AMBITIOUS TREASURE hung out. HOT PEPPER and AMBITIOUS TREASURE were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported SPEEDY STAR had lost its left front plate.
