Racing Incident Report

FIERCE FORCE was slow to begin. From a wide barrier, MISTER HORSE was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, METRO RIDER failed to muster speed and consequently raced back in the field. For some distance passing the 800 Metres, GREAT HERO got its head on the side and lay in, resulting in AMAZING CHOICE being momentarily crowded for room near the 750 Metres. Making the first turn approaching the 700 Metres, both LUCKY ARMY and METRO RIDER got their heads up and hung out. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that FIERCE FORCE had sustained a mild wound to the left hock. A veterinary inspection of GREAT HERO and AMAZING CHOICE after the race did not show any significant findings. GREAT HERO, EPEE DE HUA and FIERCE FORCE were sent for sampling.
