Racing Incident Report

FIERY RAIDER was withdrawn on 28.9.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore foot) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter FRIENDS SUPPORT. Before being allowed to race again, FIERY RAIDER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
From the outside barriers, NEWSWIRE TOO and MARVEL PLUS were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
In the early stages, FIRST CLASS proved difficult to settle and raced fiercely for some distance.
FRIENDS SUPPORT raced greenly in the early and middle stages.
For some distance approaching and passing the 800 Metres, GORGEOUS LIFE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CRIMSON.
Near the 350 Metres, POLYGOLD was held up for clear running behind LOTUS LOVE and inside BLESSING WIN. A short distance after this, LOTUS LOVE shifted out, resulting in POLYGOLD continuing to be awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse. POLYGOLD was then unable to obtain clear running until passing the 150 Metres.
GORGEOUS LIFE and TREASURE GLITTER were sent for sampling.
