Racing Incident Report

HIGH SKY, which was not standing well and had its head turned slightly to the off side, was slow out, then appeared reluctant to stretch out in the early stages and later in the race was obliged to cover a lot of ground. In the early stages, DON SEBASTIAN was inclined to pull and several times raced close to the heels of MENTOR. About the 1300 Metres, LUCKSWELL struck the running rail. LUCKSWELL made the turn near the 500 Metres awkwardly, got its head up and hung out close to the heels of SILLERENT. Rounding the turn and in the Straight, TURBOJET hung out, in the run to the winning post this caused some inconvenience to DRAGON POWER. LUCKSWELL was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
