Racing Incident Report

ZONUS began awkwardly, shifted out abruptly, bumped the outside gate of its stall and as a consequence lost a considerable amount of ground. After the 1400 Metres, AQUA-TREASURE was steadied away from the heels of LIAOBUQI. In the middle stages, GALLANT FALCON lay out. After the 800 Metres, ZONUS, which was travelling wide on the track, hung out. Prior to straightening, GOLD SANDFIELD, which was commencing to make ground, was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of MY LUCK. On straightening, HONEY MONEY was bumped on two occasions by GOOD PARTNER (C Brown) which was endeavouring to shift to the outside of MASTER MARAUDER into clear running. As a result of this, both horses became unbalanced. C Brown was told to exercise greater care when endeavouring to obtain clear running. At the 100 Metres, PRIME DELIGHT got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly. Because of this, S Dye, its rider, stopped riding and straightened his mount. For the major part of the race, MY LUCK travelled wide and without cover. Throughout the race, HONEY MONEY also travelled wide and without cover. GOOD PARTNER and HONEY MONEY were sent for sampling.
