Racing Incident Report

ELEGANCE DESIRE was withdrawn on 4.6.10 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (sore right fore fetlock) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter HANNAH KING PRAWN (D Beadman). On arrival at the Start, Jockey Beadman expressed concerns with the action of HANNAH KING PRAWN. HANNAH KING PRAWN was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion the horse was lame in the left front leg. Acting on this advice, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of HANNAH KING PRAWN. Before being allowed to race again, ELEGANCE DESIRE and HANNAH KING PRAWN will both be subjected to an official veterinary examination. BOUNCER was slow to begin. LITTLE DREAMS was slow to begin and shortly after the start was inconvenienced by ALMIGHTY WINDPOWER which shifted in. Passing the 200 Metres, BOUNCER was momentarily held up and directed in away from the heels of ARION OF CHIU TON which was giving ground. VAUGIRARD and LITTLE DREAMS were sent for sampling.
