Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the barrier, NEVER SAY NEVER was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultation it was decided NEVER SAY NEVER was suitable to race. EXULTATION left the gates very awkwardly, because of this K H Ting was momentarily unbalanced. EXULTATION was then ridden along but shortly after the start was steadied when disappointed for running between MUGHAL PALACE and COURAGE STAR which was taken in slightly by PROJECTSTAR. After the 1300 Metres, EXULTATION, which was proving very difficult to settle, threw its head about when close to the heels of WASABI. About the 1300 Metres, HOW FLUKE got its head up when being steadied to avoid the heels of MUGHAL PALACE which itself was steadied to avoid PROJECTSTAR (D Dunn) which was shifting towards the rail when barely clear. D Dunn was told he will have to exercise far more care. About the 500 Metres, COURAGE STAR got its head up when awkwardly placed in a pocket behind WASABI and tight inside PRECISION. Just before straightening, ST ALANN was steadied and shifted out to avoid DEPECHE MODE which improved around on its outside and shifted in slightly. Approaching and rounding the turn and in the early part of the Straight, SNIPPEDYDOODA hung out. In the run to the line, PRECISION shifted in, because of this H K Yim stopped riding and changed his whip hand. MUGHAL PALACE and ST ALANN were sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
