Racing Incident Report

ASCOT FANS left the gates awkwardly with its head up, shifted out abruptly and bumped TATTENHALL. SAGACIOUS was slowly away. Just after the start, HIGH SKY was crowded for room between SUPER CENTURY and TATTENHALL which shifted out. From an outside gate, HORNET was ridden along in an endeavour to go forward and get in, was unable to do so, was caught wide and started to give ground from about the 800 Metres. D Whyte (SIXTY SECONDS) said since the horse's last run in Class 2 which was considered by the stable to be good, the horse's work has improved and it was expected SIXTY SECONDS would run well tonight particularly when taken into account it was back in Class 3 this evening. He said however SIXTY SECONDS started to give ground from about the 600 Metres and dropped right out. He was unable to put forward any real explanation except he did think SIXTY SECONDS was not be able to handle tonight's track conditions. SIXTY SECONDS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
