Racing Incident Report

CLASSA FOR EVER shifted out abruptly at the start, despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in FAST GO being checked and MIGHTY CHAMPION, GOLDMEN Y Y and FOREST STAR all being severely checked. In this incident, FOREST STAR shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WIN PET which became unbalanced. In the circumstances, it was decided appropriate that CLASSA FOR EVER will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial before being permitted to race again. EXTRACTIVE was crowded for room at the start between FAIR NAVIGATOR and GOOD FORTUNE which shifted out. MIGHTY FEELING began awkwardly. From the 600 Metres onwards, BRAVE KID got its head on the side and hung out. Near the 150 Metres, CHEVALIER KING was steadied away from the heels of MIGHTY FEELING which shifted out. K L Chui (EXTRACTIVE) reported that throughout the race his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride. BRAVE KID and FAST GO were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CLASSA FOR EVER had sustained a cut to the left front leg and that GOLD JOINT had finished distressed. Before being allowed to race again, CLASSA FOR EVER and GOLD JOINT will both be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
