2 9 LITTLE MONSTER (K391) Lay in near the 350 Metres and was shifted to the outside of EXCEPTIONAL SANTOS to obtain clear running. Then approaching the 100 Metres was corrected when it continued to lay in under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 VICTORY CHAMPION (K240) No report.
4 8 VIGOR EYE (L068) No report.
5 14 SNOWTHORN (K025) M Chadwick reported that his mount raced too keenly in the lead and he was unable to set a more sustainable pace due to the racing manners of the horse.
6 7 I EXCELLE (K502) Bumped on jumping.
7 4 DUKE OF ORANGE (K540) Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind SNOWTHORN.
8 1 LUCKY TWIN STARS (K126) No report.
9 3 TEAM TEAM FOLKS (K302) Shortly after the start blundered. Leaving the 800 Metres was steadied away from VICTORY CHAMPION when racing keenly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, TEAM TEAM FOLKS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 6 GENERAL REDWOOD (L102) Shifted out at the start and made contact with I EXCELLE. A short distance later was then steadied when crowded between I EXCELLE and SNOWTHORN which shifted out.
11 11 FLYING AMANI (K152) Slow to begin.
12 13 GROOVY FEELING (J515) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
13 12 LOVEISINTHEAIR (J550) On jumping became unbalanced when it made contact with I EXCELLE. M Guyon reported that his mount, which was racing first up from a spell, would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 5 EXCEPTIONAL SANTOS (K441) Jumped awkwardly. Near the 600 Metres was hampered when taken wider by AURIO when that runner shifted out to follow VIGOR EYE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
