Racing Incident Report

WINMARK was slowly away. From a difficult gate WINNING HURRAH made the first turn awkwardly with its head up. Rounding the first turn SOLO got its head up and hung in. Rounding the turn and in the Straight HAPPY LIFE hung in, because of this, proved difficult to ride out. For some distance after the 200 Metres SOLO raced tight between BANK ON IT and WAVY WAVE. F Coetzee (BANK ON IT) said that it was anticipated the horse would run well tonight. He said from a good gate BANK ON IT jumped well. He was able to get to the front comfortably, then enjoyed what he considered a soft lead. He said, however, on straightening when put under full pressure BANK ON IT did not respond, dropped out and was in his opinion very disappointing. SUPER BOLD RACER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
