Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, T H So expressed concern regarding the action of FANTASTIC FABIO. FANTASTIC FABIO was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
Shortly after the start, NORDIC WARRIOR shifted in and bumped CONFUCIUS DAY.
From wide barriers, STARLIT KNIGHT and FEARLESS FIRE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
SHANGHAI MASTER was also steadied in the early stages, however, was not able to obtain cover at any stage during the race.
At the entrance to the Straight, STARLIT KNIGHT was shifted to the inside of NORDIC WARRIOR to obtain clear running and then passing the 150 Metres was directed to the inside of FEARLESS FIRE which shifted out under pressure.
Over the final 75 Metres, NORDIC WARRIOR was awkwardly placed behind WALDORF which drifted out under pressure and then close to the finishing line was shifted to the inside of that horse. Because of this, NORDIC WARRIOR was not able to be fully tested over the concluding stages.
WALDORF and MOST BEAUTIFUL were sent for sampling.
