Racing Incident Report

On leaving the Parade Ring, E Saint-Martin was dislodged from GOOD FRIENDS. Permission was given for the horse to proceed to the Start the reverse way. GREAT CHIEF left the gates awkwardly, shifted in abruptly. As a consequence of this, YAN CHAI ELITE was checked. On jumping, GOOD FRIENDS shifted in abruptly away from IT'S MY DAY. CHAMPION BOMB jumped awkwardly, because of this Apprentice Y T Cheng momentarily lost the use of his near side stirrup iron. Approaching, rounding the turn and in the Straight, CHAMPION BOMB hung out badly. The performance was considered by the Stewards to be unacceptable. Before CHAMPION BOMB can race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. Near the 1000 Metres, PROFESSIONALKILLER became unbalanced when awkwardly placed between KEY LARGO and CONQUEST STAR. Just after the 800 Metres, SMALL WONDER was awkward just inside the heels of ETERNAL START. In the middle stages, CONQUEST STAR hung out. For some distance in the early part of the Straight, SMALL WONDER was awkwardly placed on the heels of GOOD FRIENDS. In the Straight, IT'S MY DAY proved difficult to ride out and hung in. EASY STAR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
