Racing Incident Report

CAGA SPIRIT began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Near the 1100 Metres, CAGA SPIRIT shifted out away from UPGRADING and bumped SPECIAL DRAGON. Rounding the first turn, SMART CHOICE hung out and was steadied away from the heels of PLAN B. CAGA SPIRIT also hung out making the first turn. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of VICTORY CONQUEROR, D Beadman was unable to offer any explanation for the horse’s performance today. He said VICTORY CONQUEROR travelled well throughout the race, however, in the Straight was disappointing in its failure to finish off the race better than it did. A veterinary inspection of VICTORY CONQUEROR after the race did not show any significant findings. PERFECT STYLE and CHINA HERO were sent for sampling.
