Racing Incident Report

FAST GO was slow to begin. CHANTILLY began awkwardly, shifted out at the start and bumped SUPREME TAIJI. DANEWIN TIGER knuckled over at the start. When questioned, B Prebble stated that PONDEROSA began only fairly and in the early stages took some time to get balanced. He said approaching and passing the 800 Metres he niggled PONDEROSA along to have it travel, however, passing the 500 Metres PONDEROSA put in an awkward stride and became unbalanced. He said he slapped the horse down the shoulder and commenced to ride PONDEROSA along in an endeavour to have it pick up the bit. He said PONDEROSA responded to his riding and after passing the 200 Metres made up good ground, however, in his opinion, PONDEROSA’s run finished short of the line. A veterinary inspection of DANEWIN TIGER after the race did not show any significant findings. FATBOY SUGAR and SUPREME TAIJI were sent for sampling.
