Racing Incident Report

BORN THE SAME DAY was slow to begin.
COUNTRY BOY was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Despite being vigorously ridden along for some distance in the early stages, CALIFORNIA SKY was slow to muster speed.
CALIFORNIA SKY lost its left hind plate in the early stages.
Passing the 1100 Metres, ROYAL BOMB was awkwardly placed behind CALIFORNIA SKY.
Also passing the 1100 Metres, SUNSET WATCH was left racing wide and without cover.
At the entrance to the Straight, B Shinn (ROYAL BOMB) dropped his whip.
At the 300 Metres, EN POINTE commenced to lay in and passing the 300 Metres shifted in despite the efforts of its rider and bumped DOUBLE SIX POP which became unbalanced. After this, EN POINTE continued to lay in and near the 100 Metres shifted a number of horses.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER TEN and COUNTRY BOY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EN POINTE and ROYAL BOMB were sent for sampling.
