Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, SUPER FORTUNE reared and as a result lost ground.
LUCKY ARCHANGEL jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier.
NISHIKADO shifted out at the start and bumped PRINCE OF PORTY. A short distance later, PRINCE OF PORTY was then momentarily crowded by NORTHERN BEACHES which shifted in and away from REWARD SMILE.
EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS jumped only fairly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
In the early stages, BIG RED raced keenly and approaching the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied when racing tight to the inside of SUPREME LUCKY.
Approaching the 900 Metres, NISHIKADO commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from SHINING GEM.
SUPREME LUCKY raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.
SUPERB BOY had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
After the race, Trainer W Y So reported that he had anticipated NORTHERN BEACHES to hold a forward position with cover, however, it was able to lead today when the expected leader of the event, SUPER FORTUNE, was slow to begin.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER FORTUNE, CAPITAL DELIGHT and LUCKY ARCHANGEL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SHINING GEM, REWARD SMILE and PRINCE OF PORTY were sent for sampling.
