Racing Incident Report

On jumping, CLOVIS stumbled and was then bumped by BRILLIANT TREASURE. Shortly after the start, CLOVIS and FEEL-SO-GOOD were steadied when crowded for room between GENERAL KINGY and BRILLIANT TREASURE, both of which shifted ground. Also shortly after the start, BRAVE KNIGHT lost ground when crowded for room between DILIGENT which shifted in and SHINING DRAGON which was carried out by MY PRIDE. Prior to straightening, GOOD VIEW SUCCESS was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of PALIO KING. At the 250 Metres, SHINING DRAGON was disappointed for running on the inside of MY PRIDE and then for some distance was held up and unable to improve when following that horse. At the 100 Metres, DILIGENT was bumped by GENERAL KINGY which shifted out. Over about the final 50 Metres, CLOVIS was held up behind MY PRIDE which was giving ground. Because of this, CLOVIS was not ridden out to the end of the race as it normally would be. Throughout the race, KINGSTON MARBLE and BRILLIANT TREASURE travelled wide and without cover. FEEL-SO-GOOD, BRAVE KNIGHT and GENERAL KINGY were sent for sampling.
