Racing Incident Report

1 11 JOLLY COMPANION (H454) Bumped at the start. Near the 1100 Metres was bumped by ACE POWER which shifted in. Near the 700 Metres shifted out slightly and made contact with SUPERB BOY. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 SUPERB BOY (G335) After being crossed by MEGA BONUS near the 1000 Metres commenced to race keenly and making the first turn shifted out when being checked to avoid MEGA BONUS. Near the 700 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by JOLLY COMPANION which shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 7 ACE POWER (J181) Bumped at the start. Near the 1100 Metres shifted in and bumped JOLLY COMPANION. Between the 300 Metres and the 100 Metres was held up for clear running.
4 9 KA YING RESILIENCE (J439) No report.
5 12 SAVVY TWINKLE (K067) Making the first turn was hampered when taken wider by SUPERB BOY. As a result SAVVY TWINKLE then commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being shifted behind SUPERB BOY to obtain cover. After obtaining cover behind SUPERB BOY, SAVVY TWINKLE, which continued to race keenly, again got its head up when being checked to avoid SUPERB BOY near the 650 Metres. Shifted out near the 450 Metres and made contact with GREAT STATE.
6 1 FATAL BLOW (J484) Trainer M Newnham advised that from an outside barrier he had instructed for the horse to be ridden in a conservative manner in the early stages.
7 6 MEGA BONUS (E184) No report.
8 2 FORTUNE WHISKEY (J153) Held up making the Home Turn. M F Poon reported that his mount was fractious in the gates, jumped only fairly and as a result settled back in the field.
9 8 CAP LINER (L012) Jumped awkwardly. In the middle stages raced keenly and after being crossed by SAVVY TWINKLE near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid that runner.
10 5 FORTUNE SUPERNOVA (K287) Shifted in at the start, made contact with CAP LINER and became unbalanced.
11 10 CRYSTAL POWERFUL (H068) A Atzeni stated that from the inside barrier his mount jumped only fairly and as a result he had to make some use of it in the early stages to hold an on-pace position. He said as a consequence in the Home Straight his mount was left without a finishing effort. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have blood in the mouth.
12 3 GREAT STATE (J124) Near the 450 Metres was hampered when taken wider by SAVVY TWINKLE which shifted out when racing keenly. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
