Racing Incident Report

STRIKERS jumped awkwardly. When the gates opened, HAPPY CHAMP, which was standing with its head turned slightly to the near side, came out slowly. On jumping, CHIU CHOW BROTHER threw its head about. In the early stages, GOLDEN SPIRIT had a tendency to over-race and got its head up when close to the heels of SCHOOL DAYS. Over about the last 800 Metres, CHIU CHOW BROTHER, which was racing wide, hung out. Mr D Cruz, Trainer of CHIU CHOW BROTHER, was told if the horse performs similarly again, action may be taken against it.
