Racing Incident Report

Just before the gates opened, SPLENDID DRAGON put its head down, then came out awkwardly and threw its head about. GALICO left the gates awkwardly, shifted in slightly and brushed the hindquarters of THE GREATEST, then had a tendency to make the first turn awkwardly, get its head on the side and hang in. On jumping, GRAND FIGHTER bounded in the air. In the Straight, TRUE HERO raced greenly and shifted a lot of ground, as a consequence of this W C Marwing stopped riding several times and changed his whip hand. In the run to the winning post, GRAND FIGHTER raced tight between SHINING GEM and THE GREATEST. Before being permitted to race again, PERFECT SHADOW will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. GALICO was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, it was noted that GALICO was making a slight respiratory noise.
