Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, LUCKY FRIENDS became fractious, when the gates opened was slow to begin and then began awkwardly. Making the first turn, JADE RUYI and LAZY BUDDIES were crowded for room between RED FIREBALL which shifted out slightly and ACTIVE ACCOUNT which shifted in when not properly clear. No action was taken. In this incident, LAZY BUDDIES got its head up. In the early stages, TORI TOP proved difficult to settle. Near the 1400 Metres, LAZY BUDDIES again got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of RED FIREBALL. In the Straight, FOOD LOVER hung in and proved difficult to ride. Over the concluding stages, GREAT KID raced close to the heels of RED FIREBALL and because of this was not ridden right out to the line as it normally would be. RED FIREBALL and ACTIVE ACCOUNT were sent for sampling.
